Morioka Kouhei, doğaüstü olayları araştıran bir dergi için fotoğraflar çeken ama aslında güzel kızların fotoğraflarını çekmek isteyen bir fotomuhabiridir.
Almanya'da bir şatoyu incelemek için gönderilen ekipte yer alır. Şatonun gece vakti resimlerini çekerken, çatıda çok güzel bir kız görür, ancak resimlerin hiç birinde kız gözükmez. Ertesi gece şatoyu araştırmaya gittiklerinde etrafında görünmez bir kalkan olduğu fark ederler. Bu kalkanı fark etmeyen tek kişi Kouhei dir, çünkü ruhsal etkilere tamamen duyarsızdır. Tek başına içeri giren Kouhei'nin karşısına bir vampir olan Hazuki çıkar. Tatlı sözlerle Kouhei'yi kandıran Hazuki, öperek onu kölesi yapmaya çalışır. Bu duruma tamamen duyarsız olan Kouhei etkilenmez bile, ama yinede Hazuki'yi kapalı tutulduğu bu şatodan kurtarır.
