Ayumu Narumi’nin abisi Kiyotaka evlendikten bir süre sonra iz bırakmadan ortadan kaybolur. Arkasında tek bir ipucu bırakır: “Blade Children”. Dedektif yengesi Madoka ile yaşamaya devam eden Ayumu sürekli abisinin izini araştırmaktadır. Çevresinde bir çok cinayetin işlenmesi ve bu cinayetlerin gizliden gizliye “Blade Children”la alakalı olması Ayumu’yu daha da derine inmeye ikna eder. Okul gazetesi muhabiri arkadaşı Yuizaki Hoyono ile “Blade Children” hakkında daha fazla bilgi toplamaya çalışıp abisine ne olduğunu bulmaya çalışacaktır.
