Mustafa, Şemsi Efendi Okulu 4. sınıfa giderken, beden eğitimi dersinde öğretmeni sınıfa koşu yarışması yaptırdı. Okul etrafında iki tur atılacak ve birinci olan okul çapında yapılacak koşuda sınıfını temsil edecekti.
İlk turu önde geçen Mustafa ikinci turun ortalarında bitiş çizgisine doğru güçlü adımlarla koşarken, biraz ilerde uçamayan bir yavru kuşun peşinden koşan siyah, kocaman bir kediyi fark etti.
