Tanıtım:
Mowgli henüz bebek sayılabilecek yaşta, bilim adamı olan babası ve annesiyle birlikte kamp kurdukları sırada gördüğü iki ceylan yavrusunun peşinden giderek ormanın derinliklerinde kaybolur.
Bir insan yavrusunun ormanda olduğu haberini duyan vahşi kaplan Shere Khan, onun peşine düşer. Fakat Mowgli’yi Shere Khan’nın elinden kurt sürüsünün lideri olan Alexander kurtarır. Alexander ve eşi Luri bundan sonra küçük Mowgli’yi evlat edinmeye karar verir çünkü Mowgli’nin anne ve babası onu ararken bir kaza sonucu hayatlarını kaybetmişlerdir.
Mowgli, siyah panter Baghera ve yaşlı bir ayı olan Baloo’nun da yardımıyla kurtlar tarafından yetiştirilir. Fakat ormanda hayvanlar tarafından büyütülmüş olmasına rağmen bir insan olarak doğada onu çeşitli zorluklar beklemektedir. Özellikle Shere Khan bundan böyle daima Mowgli ve dostlarının peşinde olacaktır.
