Jun Nonomiya; 14 yaşında, kısa boylu ama boyuna göre oldukça gelişmiş bir beyne sahiptir. Dehasını genelde icat ettiği makine ve robotlarda kullanır. İcat ettiği iki robot Kichinosuke ve Yukinojo, Jun'un en yakın arkadaşlarıdır. Okulda ise sınıf arkadaşı Zero(Rei Kano)'ya aşıktır. Zero okulun serserisidir. Sınıfta kaldığı için diğer öğrencilerden yaşça büyüktür. Kötü biri gibi görünse de aslında çok iyi kalplidir ve motorsikletlere oldukça meraklıdır. Jun, Zero'ya aşkını göstermek için onun motorsikletini sürekli modifiye eder ama ortaya çıkan sonuçlar hep istenenden farklı olur...
