Tanıtım:
Dijital dünya, 3 melek digimon tarafında yönetilmektedir. Bu 3 meleğin ismi; Cherubimon (kerymon), Seraphimon (patamon mega) ve Ophanimon'dur. İçlerinden bir tanesi, Cherubimon, ayaklanmıştır. Bu yüzden, dijital dünyanın dengesi bozulmuş ve parçalanmaya başlamıştır. Antik çağda dijital dünyayı kendi yaşamları karşılığında kurtaran 10 efsanevi savaşçı artık yoktur. En tehlikeli zamanda efsanevi savaşçıların ruhları başka bir dünyada olan çocuklara yeni bir güç sunuyorlardır. Gerçek dünyadaki bu çocuklar Digimon dünyasını girerler ve bir Digimon olurlar.
Toei, ilk başta Digimon'un 4. sezonunun adını "Digimon Scanners" olarak koyacakdı. Ancak ani bir karar değişikliğiyle Digimon Frontier olarak çıkarmaya karar verdi. Aslında Scanners daha uygundu belki... Çünkü; devamlı gelişen Digimonlar daha da değişti. 3. sezondaki Mega değişimden sonra bu sefer kahramanlarımız taradıkları digimon oluyorlar, tabi biraz daha karmaşık. Kahramanlarımız Digimon dünyasında bir ruh gücüne sahip ve bunun sayesinde ruhunu taşıdıkları Digimon'a dönüşüyolar. Bu dönüşüme Hybrid adı verilmiş.
