AutoForm R3 more - exceptional accuracy, and speed:

This version is different to a new level of precision and speed. Superior performance in parallel computing allows users to enjoy high-speed factors on multi-core, which now require licenses solver less. In addition, AutoForm R3 contains more new features for hot forming and heat and helps users avoid springback systematically.

AutoForm and R3 is the third major release of the new product line AutoForm more. AutoForm intense focus on specific results and short computation time led to the version that incorporates several innovative features. The principal offers predefined control parameters for the different stages in the workflow engineering. The three different settings of control parameters - Concept Assessment (EC), evaluation of advanced concept (EC ) and final validation (VF) - are aligned to minimize the differences when moving from one medium to the another. AutoForm R3 and offers more options in the field of parallel computing. Multiprocessing shared memory solver version (SMP) is now available not only for 2 and 4 cores, but also for 3 and 8. At the same time, the number of licenses needed to perform parallel execution has been reduced, giving the user the advantage of multiprocessing at a lower cost.

Note: On Linux, the company AutoForm Engineering GmbH provides no graphical user interface - only solvers, called from the command line or script. Also on hand are included plug-ins for CAD system CATIA and NX to R19 inclusive.

Furthermore, in addition AutoForm R3 allows realistic simulation of hot forming processes and quenching, taking into account innovative heat treatment processes that are applied during the stamping of certain light materials and assists the user in the systematic prevention of springback.
